by admin477351

Indonesia continues to offer some of the most affordable fuel prices in Southeast Asia, as reported by the nation’s state-owned energy company. The country provides the cheapest RON 92 gasoline in the region, sold domestically as Pertamax, at approximately Rp15,950 ($0.89) per litre. This price is notably lower compared to neighboring countries such as Singapore, the Philippines, and Thailand.

In addition to RON 92 gasoline, Indonesia also boasts the lowest price for RON 95 gasoline, with a cost of around Rp19,150 ($1.07) per litre. This is in contrast to prices in Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Singapore, where costs are significantly higher. Indonesia’s competitive pricing extends to aviation fuel as well, with the lowest rates in the region at about Rp20,190 ($1.13) per litre.

While Vietnam follows closely in aviation fuel pricing at Rp20,619, other nations such as Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia see considerably higher prices. When it comes to diesel, Indonesia ranks as the third-cheapest in Southeast Asia, with prices around Rp25,200 ($1.41) per litre, trailing behind Vietnam and Malaysia.

These competitive fuel costs underline Indonesia’s position as a leader in affordable energy pricing within the region. The pricing strategy not only benefits domestic consumers but also positions Indonesia advantageously in the Southeast Asian energy market.
