Among the pivotal projects is the construction of a new police headquarters in the Segamat district, along with land acquisition efforts for another police headquarters in Pengerang. These developments are intended to strengthen local law enforcement capabilities. In parallel, significant upgrades are planned for immigration facilities at major border checkpoints to streamline processes and reinforce border security.
In addition to these security-focused projects, the ministry has also prioritized public services with the establishment of a new National Registration Department office in Batu Pahat. This move is expected to improve access to essential services for residents. Enhancements to prison facilities are also on the agenda, reflecting a commitment to modernize and maintain institutional standards.
Further efforts include the redevelopment of anti-drug treatment centers, which underscores the ministry’s dedication to addressing drug-related issues through improved rehabilitation services. The Abu Bakar Maritime Base is also slated for significant upgrades, enhancing maritime enforcement capabilities in the region.
